DIGIPAK ANALYSIS

This is and example of the layout and design of a normal digipak. The main characteristics remain there to show that is a digipak. For example, we have and example of a barcode, a barcode is merely there to identify the price of the product. Although it may not seem as significant as some of the other products, nothing takes place until there is assurance that the product is valid. Amongst other things the most significant factor is personal identification within a digipak, this straight away alerts the audience  to the product they're buying. Furthermore, this would usually be found at the front the digipack.

The fact that an image is on the front meanw its there to show recognition of the people selling the product.
The red on the front cover has connotations of love. In this case the reference to love is reinforced by the focal image that denotes a man and woman as a couple. Ideally, this front cover would aim to attract an audience whose preferred genre of music is love. As the digipak goes on, we also come across references to what type of songs would be playing in the album, this becomes vital as we gain a more contextualised understand on what type of album it actually is.
In addition, the price would normally be in small print at the bottom of the page to alert the buyers how much the purchase of the product would cost them. This way, the buyer understand whether they could afford the product. However, if the price tag wasn't visible on the digipak it may cause confusion and uncertainty regarding whether they should buy the product or not.
in conclusion, the final identification to reinstate it's a digipak would probably be the visual reference of the reviews. The reviews would normally be there to show any thoughts on the new release and normally, the publisher puts reviews to show the credentials and prestige of the artists who are making the publishment.
